OFFICIAL RULES

1. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of Scoutwell, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and household members) are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Giveaway Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. PT on November 1, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on December 31, 2025 (the “Entry Period”).
Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be accepted.

3. How to Enter

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

To enter, scan the QR code featured on promotional materials or visit the link provided, and complete the entry form via JotForm with your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. Limit one (1) JotForm entry per person during the Entry Period.

 

Bonus Entry: The first 60 eligible entrants will receive a complimentary Scoutwell Black Satin Sleep Mask and will automatically receive one (1) bonus entry for an additional chance at the Grand Prize. Sleep Masks will begin shipping the second week of November 2025.



Alternate Method of Entry: To enter without scanning a QR code or completing the online form, handwrite your full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number on a 3" × 5" card and mail it in an envelope with proper postage to:

Scoutwell – Fade to Black Giveaway, 2355 State St. Suite 101, Salem, OR 97301. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2025, and received by January 4, 2026.

All entries become the property of Scoutwell and will not be returned.

4. Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”)
Grand Prize (3 Winners):
Each Grand Prize Winner will receive:

• Gift card to book a two-night stay for two at Hallmark Resort and Spa Cannon Beach, Oregon;

• Gift card for dinner for 2 at the Resort;

• Two Scoutwell sleep masks.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each Grand Prize: $1,000.

Second Prize (30 Winners):
Each Second Prize Winner will receive one deluxe black Scoutwell throw blanket.
Blankets will begin shipping the second week of January 2026.
ARV: $60 each.

Early Entry Bonus (First 60 Entrants):
Each of the first 60 eligible entrants will receive a black satin Scoutwell sleep mask.
ARV: $20 each.

Total ARV of all prizes: approximately $6000.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be substituted, except by Sponsor at its discretion for one of equal or greater value.

5. Winner Selection and Notification
A random drawing will be conducted on or about January 5, 2026 from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Potential winners will be notified by email on or about January 5, 2026. If a selected winner does not respond within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

The names of confirmed winners will also be announced on Scoutwell’s official social media channels.

All prizes are subject to change without notice.

6. Winner Requirements

Winners may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 7 days of notification.
Failure to return required documents within the stated timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance and use. For prizes valued at $600 or more, Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099.

7. General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the Giveaway.

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Scoutwell, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation or receipt/use of any prize.

Except where prohibited, entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, and city/state of residence for promotional purposes without compensation.

8. Required Oregon Disclosures

• No purchase or payment necessary.

• Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

• Alternate free method of entry is available (see Section 3).

• Void where prohibited.

• This Giveaway complies with Oregon Revised Statutes § 646A.803 and Oregon Administrative Rule 137-020-0430 regarding promotional disclosures.

9. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Scoutwell’s Privacy Policy, available at [insert URL].
By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of personal data for administration of the Sweepstakes and prize fulfillment.

10. Governing Law

All disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
